Yeah, I’ll watch it so I can see Starlin Castro, SS Cubs. I need the Nats to win this game so the Cubs will have home field advantage...

Tigers just clawed their way to the lead in the last game before the break. Cool of the Cleveland coach to pick Peralta when Jeter stepped out. Last year, Cleveland couldn’t get rid of Peralta fast enough.

The game was falsely advertised as starting at 8 p.m. I should have known that wasn't true.
Verlander better not pitch unless it gets to the 27th inning.

MLB All Star Game should have an asterisk* since 16 “All Stars” are not attending for various reasons. I don’t know if that is a record but it has to be close.

Cubs were ‘Fine in ‘69’....until The Lip’s over worked regulars ran out of gas in Aug/Sept. Not a lot of ‘heel clickin’ by Ronnie those 2 months was there? Go Cubs!!!

Part of the problem is fan voting. Jeter got in on name recognition and he’s a definite all star but Peralta is actually having a better season.

I started to say I don’t think Avila will last until the 27th inning, but then I remembered once upon a time there was talk about changing the All-Star game rules to allow a catcher to go back into a game even though he had previously been pulled. Was that rule ever made?
