Is this the trap?

Its a trap

Has this been the plan to get by the Tea Party members of the House? To pull the Obama "Panic! Time is running out! No time to think, just vote for this before the clock hits zero!!"

Isnt this the same thing they did for ObamaCare? Pelosi "You have to vote for it to see what is in it".

Now I know we dont control the White House and the Senate, but the GOP does control the House of Represenatives which is commonly referred as The Purse Strings. I am getting worried that this plan they are putting together....

1. Pushes the debt issue past the next election. This issue is killing Obama in the polls.
2. Little to no cuts, any cuts from what I have read go out to 10 years, which is nothing.
3. Balanced Budget Admentment is either not there or is hamstrung and ineffective.
4. Allows the Democrats to gain control of the narrative and claim victory.

Lucky for me. My Rep in DC is Dennis Ross FL 12 @RepDennisRoss

He has been great on Twitter, has responded to me several times. I am so proud of him and Marco Rubio. I have told both to HOLD THE LINE! And that they both have my FULL SUPPORT.

He certainly has a record of handling everything this same way, doesn’t he? And remember the BP Oil Spill? We have to something RIGHT NOW!!, but blocks all efforts to actually get in there ASAP and prevent damage.

If this is a trap it is one of the demoRats because this budget is over 2 years past due. The rats could not even get a budget done when they were the majority.

Boner and the Republican “leadership” in the House have handled this horribly.

DIMS like to govern from crisis-mode because they can pretty much get everything they want—We know this from past experience and, as such, should have seen it coming with the debt debate, and gotten out in front of it at the very beginning.

As part of the 2nd tier part, the GOP will either have accept tax raises as part of the super committee, or watch $600Billion be cut from the defense budget.

It sounds like negotiated a great plan for the Democrats.

A congress critter was running for re-election, going about, shaking hands and asking for votes.
He asked an old man for his vote and the man replied, “I got a theory about politicians.”
“What’s that?” the critter asked.
“Well, if you elect a politician to one term, he learns his job.
If you elect him to a second term, he learns to steal.”

“Now, I don’t look like I would steal, do I?” asked the critter.
“No, but you look like a slow learner,” the old man said.

IMHO the Republicrats are hoping the TP noobs are slow learners.

Trap?

Tax increases to solve the debt problem are completely off the table. The rats won the tax debate.

The GOP didn’t blink when Obama told the Social Security recipients and military families that the republicans wanted them to starve. The rats lost the fear card.

The current debate is fully on what to cut and how fast.

The House Tea Party takes on the Senate and the President and wins the debate over a corrupt liberal press and we are supposing they lost this? Really?

The one thing about this Debt Debate has done that I do like.

It again proves that President Obama has almost zero leadership skills and has been called on the carpet even by his own side. Liberals are pissed they are not getting higher taxes. Obama has been tanking in the polls.

I will assume something will pass the Senate today or tomorrow. It allready is failing my SMELL TEST. My Rep in DC Mr Denns Ross -FL 12 agreed with me via Twitter.

Here is my question. Will the GOP in the House of Represenatives fracture and give Reid, Pelosi and Obama the win?

Being critical of the inside dealing doesn’t warrant ridicule. “Get your ass in line” and “Grow up”.

You left out the other part...the poison pill for the Dems.

Dems would have to have Medicare cut also if it came to this.

They won't allow it to happen.

Are you saying the democrats won? They don’t even have a plan.

They don't have to have a plan.
They took the House plan and bastardized it, now are ramming it back down their throats.

Barry gets the issue off the plate until after the election, he wins.
Barry gets tax rate increases, he wins.
GOP gets blamed and demonized, he wins.
GOP leadship caves, undercuts the Tea Party in the house, he wins.

We've been sold out - the House is being put into an untenable position. Crisis management ("You can buy this used car for $19.95 - but you have to buy it before you leave the lot") + stupid, spineless GOP "leaders" = Barry wins.

There is a parliamentary trick by which the Senate can bypass the House’s requirement to initiate money bills.

1. Find a bill the House passed but the Senate hasn’t.
2. Gut the bill by amendment and insert desired language.
3. Pass the bill in the Senate.
4. Reconcile House and Senate versions of the bills in conference.

That’s why I have been emphasizing we can’t get everything we wanted; we control the House but not the Senate.

Fix this in 2012.

Get your ass in line. Being critical is one thing whining is another. I’m tired of the weenie whiners, complaining all the time. If you think talking tough bothers me. Check your brains.

Until the house and senate pass the same thing, I’ll hold off.

Then again, I think this whole thing is irrelevant.

The worst thing is that the Republicans are like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football. The trick works on them every time and they get no smarter.
