I happened to see an interview with Arnold Palmer. In the course of the interview, Palmer was asked about Woods and his collapse/problems. Palmer went into detail on the “X Factor” regarding pro golfers. He explained that there was a certain untouchable factor, most probably a mental process that once lost, rarely came back. It was an interesting and insightful group of comments, and I think Mr. Palmer knew exactly what he was saying.
Well golf is definitely a mental sport, so maybe it is all the post-divorce trauma rather than physical breakdown.
Personally I’m gonna lay the blame on the Obama jinx.
Thanks Doc...
Whether it is true or not, I’m totally fine with blaming it on Obama.
Thanks Doc...
Yeah! Obama’s? ROFL
Shut up for a year, OK?
Who? Tiger, the media or posters of threads?
Yeah but Tiger has a bum leg ,a big mouth, temper and curses a lot so he would probably get canned as a caddy by most people. Might be better to use a Lama instead.
Your insight was truly helpful.
He will probably get a reality TV show called “Celebrity Golf Rehab”
Arms and the man. You make a compelling argument.
Hubby and I got SO SICK of Tiger Woods, not because of him, but because of the drooling coverage he always received. It got to a point where we ALWAYS rooted against him, not FOR anyone else, just against Tiger. And, again, this was NOT because of him, the coverage just made us hate him.
So, I can’t be happy he’s doing so badly. He always seemed to be patriotic guy, I still remember the tournament he had that was in support of wounded veterans, that must have been right before it all fell apart.
It’s hard to feel happy about anyone’s life exploding, even if they brought on theirself.
And of course I feel awful for his wife, ex-wife. What a freaking bummer to find out your hubby is banging every skank from here to kingdom come. I think that must be extra hard for such a super beautiful woman as Elin Woods is. You’ve got to be saying to yourself, what, I’m not good enough? Awful.
And now what you are saying here about steroids.
It’s all just NOT GOOD.
Depressing, really.
But hey, at least hubby and I can watch golf again without grinding our teeth, so there’s that.
Your post EXACTLY explains why hubby and I came to hate tiger woods.
It’s not him, it’s the “fans” in the media.
They’re ruining their own sport with their obsession with one competitor.
It’s as if ALL of MLB coverage was focused on the Yankees.
IMO....Woods could very well have bulked up previously and now suddenly, when he can’t because every one is watching, he can’t seem to get his act together...
Yea me too. The press and TV coverage is what made me root for anyone but Tiger. But it’s the same with everything else. If the MSM is for it I am against it. If they are against it I am for it.
No Doc, YOUR insight is valued beyond words!
Torque.
Also he has too much muscle for his frame and that changes the balance.
Joints and spine are easily susceptible to stress injuries.
It’s similar to the little gymnast girls who lose their centers of gravity once the breasts grow. Short careers unless they a genetically small. Some of those commie countries could have been drugging those little girls to keep their breasts from developing thereby prolonging their time for athletic development and the resulting star quality performances that garnered them Olympic laurels.
Once little Nadia from Romania started to grow, it was all over.
