‘Usually in U.S. buildings they just skip the number on the elevator.’

The only building I have ever seen that actually had a “13th” floor is the CNN center in Atlanta.

The office building at 10th and Peachtree has one - so does the old Fulton National Bank Building and I think the Floyd Towers (state govt offices) do too.

Maybe skipping a floor never really caught on in the South.
