Ever hear the one about the old horse
Midway through the last ice age, a prehistoric horse ended its life in muddy ignominy. Twenty-six thousand years later, the horses tattered skin, which resembles beef jerky, has become a Yukon treasure.
The mummified skin of a Pleistocene horse was found near Dawson City and is on display at the Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre. Its the second largest find from the period in North America.

I was stationed at Clovis (Cannon AFB) for 1 year, 1 week and 2 days. Wasn’t my favorite assignment.
