The Iowa caucuses are just a few weeks away but one race will be decided tomorrow when the Heisman Trophy is awarded. The source cited in this post is known for the accuracy of its prediction. We'll see in about 30 hours if Baylor's Robert Griffin III wins the award given to the most outstanding player in collegiate football.

In my opinion, RG3 certainly deserves it for his on-field performance. Plus I'd like to see Baylor, a private, Christian (Southern Baptist) university with Ken Starr as president get the attention of football fans everywhere. In a year where Tim Tebow is making headlines (and frustrating liberals everywhere) in the pros, it would be great to have Baylor net its first ever Heisman. The liberals (Lou Holtz being an exception) at ESPN/Disney will not be pleased with Baylor getting honored.

I’ve seen him play a few times this year. He is simply an amazing football player.

RG3 I think is the correct winner of the Heisman. As much as the SEC and PAC-12 want to disagree, the competition in the Big 12 was much more competitive across the board. Plus, Baylor played TCU on its nonconference schedule. The schedules Andrew Luck and Trent Richardson played were a joke, except their respective showdowns with Oregon and LSU, where neither was stellar. Mattheiu should probably finish 2nd for LSU and Ball should get 3rd, but that will be closer than the difference between 1 and 2.

Baylor's Robert Griffin III is going to win the Heisman Trophy.

Griffin is a very good choice and will do honor to the trophy.

As a Baylor grad, this is very exciting. Best of luck to him!

Luck will prove to be the better of the two.
