So...reacting to a fluke play is what makes him worthy of a Heisman?

Don't get me wrong, RGIII is a great player and a nice story. But Wisonsin RB Montee Ball has had a far, far better season. Ball led the NCAA in rushing yards and leads the entire known universe in TD's.

Not at all. His entire body of work at Baylor is what makes Robert Griffin III entitled to the honor.

I highlighted that particular play because of the character it revealed about him. So many players (particularly those at state-run schools) would have weaufed, pointed to themselves and made it all about them. RG3's reaction showed that he realized things just fell into place. In that regard, Griffin reminds me of Tim Tebow who deflects the glory from himself and rightly gives it to God and his teammates.

In the interests of full disclosure:

1. I have not seen RGIII play. Not even on SportsCenter,
2. I am a triple Badger.

So, I’d love to see Montee Ball win.
