I’m a hard nosed conservative also yet your response to my post was laden with inference. Would you care to enlighten the FreeRepublic audience about your admiration for “the guy Sheriff Joe likes”?
I don’t know what I said to earn the dripping sarcasm. I was just responding to your remark to the effect that you were wondering “WHERE IS THE CONSERVATIVE DARK HORSE,” nothing more.
I suppose that maybe I shouldn’t have presupposed you would know about Joe Arpio’s endorsement of Rick Perry, but I did think that it was somewhat a confirmation of Rick Perry’s conservative credentials, if he needs any such confirmation. So I made an abbreviated post. I sure wasn’t intending to set off the kind of response I got. I only wanted to point you in the direction of Rick Perry.
From that point on, you can take it or leave it, but if you do chose to leave it, you don’t have many other safe harbors, so to speak.
