Awwwwww......:)
Why is this even a question? Anyone who won’t fight, and possibly kill, to keep themselves or their loved ones alive is just wasting oxygen...
Are you kidding? I already don’t like most people much at all.
The only real concern I have is getting rid of the bodies.
Of course I might just be sarcastic. Who knows?
6 years US Army Infantry - not a problem.
I'll second that and offer the following quote from the article: "I personally do not think I could not do it. "
Note carefully the unintended but subconsciously revealing double negative.
“The only real concern I have is getting rid of the bodies.”
You don’t have a bunch of big dogs?
They’re not a bit picky about where meat ‘comes from’, you know.
:)
If she refuses to protect herself, her family, or her preps then she’s a victim, not a survivor. Thankfully, I don’t have to depend on her.
If there was an intruder who was threatening my family today, there is no question I would do what it takes to protect them. If it were in an extreme SHTF situation, the second of the three S’s would be bbq sauce.
I have a similar list, but I suspect they know well enough to take their loot and get out of the US.
They’ll have a bounty on their head so large there will be nowhere to hide.
Short of any obvious situation-specific circumstances, anyone who has forced their way into your home has answered all relevant questions.
I’ve lived in NY and GA. Funny how different the general populace reacts to the issue. The former tends toward quivering indecision, the latter goes “well duh”.
I lost all my weapons in an unfortunate boating mishap
It’s a legitimate question. I don’t think humans come out of the box as no-mercy unadulterated killers. And there are many who might have to think about it. Youngsters, elderly people with limited mobility, some people of certain religious inclinations.
We’re not all the same like we were stamped out by cookie cutters.
The time might come when people have to band together, with whatever talents they have. An older person or person who has religious objections to killing might still have very valuable talents and be a major contributor, while others take on the duties of guarding and defending.
We’re simply not all the same.
But you haven't gone and done any shooting?
And the answer is yes.
Someone threatens those that are mine and I will remove the threat.
It is that simple.
I will deal with what ever comes later when it comes but the threat will be removed. And I will go as far as is necessary.
Good. Sometimes I feel like a wuss. Agreed if they are a threat, but I Love animals.
If someone were to invade my home with intent to harm me or my family, I would in a hot second. I have no desire to be prey ... or grieving and guilty.
BANG
BANG BANG BANG
The bigger problem for me, is correct assessment of the threat, not follow through on taking down a perceived threat.
BANG BANG BANGBANG BANG BANGBANG BANG BANGBANG BANG BANGBANG BANG BANGBANG BANG BANGBANG BANG BANGBANG BANG BANG
I mean, yes
The Marines taught me to shoot one way.
Shoot to kill.
Period.
