Maybe he thought they were worms.

This bird made an unlikely four-legged friend after feeding a dog noodles from the kitchen counter top.

The pair have a Lady and the Tramp moment as the cockatoo bobs his way toward his furry companion to share a string of spaghetti.

LOL! Very endearing....I’m kind of two minds about it. I love seeing unexpected inter-species friendships...but very frightened out there for folks with birds and dogs who might endanger their birds by encouraging this kind of behavior.

All in all, thanks for the link!

Yep! My dog loves spaghetti noodles and can eat a handful in one bite. I am amazed at how fast she can gobble them down. She knows when I am cooking them and waits by the sink for them to cool down. I always cook a little extra just to watch the feeding frenzy!

That Bird would not have lasted a second if all that bird offered was that little tidbit to her!

Bonus points to the bird for dipping the pasta in sauce.

That’s customer service.

Saw this on Facebook yesterday and thought it was really cute, but I really have a bad feeling that my dog would enjoy a little bird with her noodles!

Cute. Not quite as impressive, but my sister had 2 cats that would regularly knock food off the counter for the dog. It might have been their insurance plan.

Clearly, this is a bribe to persuade the dog to keep the neighborhood cats at bay.

:-)

I had a spaniel once who would have gobbled my cockatiel if I had not been supervising and intervened quickly! Loved both of them dearly, but kept them separate after that!

That pooch in the film had remarkable restraint!

I used to have parrots when I was 20 something. Messsssy! But they are quite interesting and affectionate critters.

One ate the wooden banister in the house I was renting while I was at work. The landlord banned cats and dogs but said birds would be okay...
