I enjoy the music of ABBA but that movie was BAD! I had to leave the room, it was so bad.
And I like musicals.
I totally agree. You would get more enjoyment from listening to an ABBA disc than watching this mess. I was shocked when I read how many HUNDREDS of millions of dollars this movie made.
I also enjoy musicals. You can usually tell if it is a good musical by the quality of the first song-—good examples being “The Sound of Music”, “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly” from My Fair Lady, “Belle” from Beauty and the Beast, and many more. When I heard Amanda Seyfried’s opening number (it was so bad I don’t remember the song) I knew this movie would be a turkey.
