Jane Goodall observed this in the 1970s or so, where a mother and daughter chimp pair went around killing all the baby chimps. She said it was the only time she actively intervened, by stopping the pair from killing chimp babies in front of her.
Wasn’t that chimp Mama eating parts of the babies she killed?
I vaguely remember how shocked everyone was to find that chimps could be cannibals.
And Flint killed his baby sister out of jealousy. He wanted mama, Flo, all to himself.
