I visited Czechoslovakia in August, 1968. During the two days I was there, I saw a political rally in downtown Prague. I only knew a few words of Czech, so I didn't understand what the crowd was chanting, but I figured it was in support of the reformist government headed by Alexander Dubček.

Three weeks after I left, the Soviet tanks rolled in.
