Newlywed Barney Frank stopped by "The Bill Press Show" on Tuesday and discussed marrying his longtime partner, Jim Ready, over the weekend
Asked how fellow pols have reacted, the congressman said, Mostly, the Republicans have ignored it. There have been no negative comments and I think a few years ago, there would have been. The climate is changing and opponents have realized that the country is moving beyond them. A couple of Republicans have privately congratulated me. The Democrats have been enormously enthusiastic and friendly.

I've got a few for you if you're interested in hearing them.
"I have a ceremony to attend," quoth one, "at dawn to-morrow, in the Quirinal valley." "What is the occasion?" "No need to ask: a friend is taking to himself a husband; quite a small affair." Yes, and if we only live long enough, we shall see these things done openly: people will wish to see them reported among the news of the day."
Bwahney! You did’n inwite me! Tho you mutht be hetero-phobic. Or Raaathitht.
But at least my butt doesn’t hurt.
I’ll bet it was a fabulous “wedding”. I wonder who caught Bahknee’s bouquet?
Yeah, where were they anyway? I thought this stuff was the reason they're always on the warpath.
Sheesh, the one time you really wish they were protesting somewhere and they're a no show.
The country, in the midst of burning to the ground during a crisis Frank helped manufacture, he throws a party.
Nice.
There was no wedding and there is no marriage. Two men held a mock wedding, and some of their friends played pretend with them. They are trying to convince themselves that the emotions of broken or perverted minds are the same as the God-ordained institution of marriage between a man and a woman. It is fashionable and sometimes profitable to participate in this game, but it is a game, a sad and ultimately destructive deception.
Barney has been”Buggering”us for long enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wahhhhhhhh wahhhhhhhhhh wahhhhhhhh!
Wedding? Who was the lucky gal?
Pretty much everybody ignored your “wedding”, Bawney.
Somehow I get visions of the homo wedding in the movie FELLINI SATYRICON. Appropriately it was released in (ahm) 1969.
Wedding? What wedding? When it involves two people of the same gender, its a pathetic parody of marriage, not the real thing.
I like the way you put that. It is just a game, isn’t it.
I wonder if anyone has pointed out to Mr Fwank that he didn’t have a wedding, nor will he have a marriage. Rather, what he had is fiction. What he will have into the future is a charade.

Frank is the most bombastic flame throwing prick in Washington. There wont be many kind words said the day he kicks the bucket either and rightfully so.
That’s because, if a woman wasn’t involved, you didn’t have a wedding, you pervert.
I give it less than two years. (If one doesn’t kill the other first.)
Is it our fault our invitations got lost in the mail?
