When it comes to nudity, Europeans are prone to observing that Americans are ... prudes.

Must be a slow news day. If it's blurred out, that means it is not shown, doofus.

This is the logical end result of the liberal model of television drama and comedy. They need to keep “pushing the limits” to keep people interested. Look back at what was “edgy” sexual banter in the 70s and it sounds almost quaint — you could get giggles by just suggesting two people were going to have sex. Now you need full frontal nudity to keep people interested. Give it 20 years and they'll have people having sex on TV with a small amount of pixilation. And people will be board with it. Titillation is no substitute for good writing.

The nakedest movie I have ever seen was rated PG.
Tanya Roberts in “Sheena”. As one might guess, it was an awful movie. I will say Tanya was a well formed girl.

Major contributers to this would be Starz network Spartacus and Magic City. ;)

You should know that this sort of post cuts into the amount of time that Freepers have for bashing Todd Akin.
That makes it both hugh and series.

The most risque show I'm willing to watch is Gilligan's Island. It was always running into trouble with the censors over Mary Anne's midriff and Ginger's breasts.

The human obsession with its own genitalia is passing strange and I suppose it is the result of a twisted appetite for titillation.
A little bit of flesh uncovered will, however, cover over a lot of missing talent.

So, PTC doesn't really have much in the way of nudity so they're going after
pixellation as the latest evil?
What's next - bra ads in the JCPenney catalog?

full front nudity means only female bodies.....the media is oh so careful not to show the men’s parts....gee... wouldn’t want to humiliate them like they do the females..or make them sexual objects....no, wouldn’t want to do that...

“titillating”? No. Throw a blankie over the kids? No.
context, context, context - that's what makes for “titillation”
and worse than either “nudity” or even “full frontal nudity”?
language; overt and/or suggestive language; foul, filthy language in scenes where “everything is covered up” but the context could not be more prurient if it tried
that's “titillation”; not mere nudity, or even full frontal nudity
when it's funny, it's funny; not “titillating”; when it's serious, it's “titillating”
