“The results of that study follow: The 55,322 illegal aliens in the study accounted for a total of 459,614 arrests (or eight arrests per illegal alien). Their arrests represented a total of nearly 700,000 criminal offenses (or 13 offenses per illegal alien). Thirty-six percent of those studied had been arrested at least five times previously.

Peter Wagner, the author of The Dark Side of Illegal Immigration, summed up the situation when he told World Net Daily:

While the vast majority of illegal aliens are decent people who work hard and are only trying to make a better life for themselves and their families, it is also a fact that a disproportionately high percentage of illegal aliens are criminals and sexual predators. That is part of the dark side of illegal immigration and when we allow the ‘good’ in we get the ‘bad’ along with them. The question is, how much ‘bad’ is acceptable and at what price? “

One that has stuck with me from 2008. This happened just a couple days after an illegal struck a school bus in Minnesota and killed 3 or 4 children.

This story doesn't mention it but the killer is an illegal.

Mendon teen dies after hit-and-run crash

THREE RIVERS -- A Mendon teen critically injured in a hit-and-run crash died Monday night at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, police said.

Daniel P. Turner, 14, was walking with a friend along the shoulder of M-60 in St. Joseph County's Park Township when he was struck and dragged by a Ford Mustang that ran off the road at about 6:25 p.m. Sunday, according to the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Office. The car's driver ran away on foot after it crashed into a parked car and a bush, a news release said.

Deputies, Michigan State Police troopers and a Michigan Department of Natural Resources officer caught up with the suspected driver later after receiving a report that a person matching the driver's description was seen on North Fisher Lake Road near Thompson Lane, police said.

Police said Sergio Onofre, 20, of Three Rivers, was taken to the St. Joseph County Jail and could face several charges, including leaving the scene of an accident, causing death, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, minor in possession of alcohol, driving while his license was suspended and an outstanding warrant.
