That mead looks beautiful. I have a question for you and your list. I want to surprise Hubby with wine making kit for Christmas. He has some grapes frozen that he wants to make into wine.
Any recommendations for decent moderate priced/best buy equipment would be appreciated. Thanks.

Any of the starter kits from the better mail order places will work fine.
Morebeer.com
Northernbrewer.com
The biggest issue I have found for beginners is the pot itself.
7 gallons at a minimum, and they don’t give them away. Expect to spend 150 bucks on a complete starter kit that includes the first batch. The pot however is another matter.
Cheers,

I agree with knewshound.
Morebeer is one web store that offers free shipping if you buy over a certain price - I think it is $50. Good place to purchase your start up equipment, as it can be heavy. If you are only going to be making wines you will not need a Boiling pot as you would need for Beer. You can get a complete kit that includes Bottles for around $150 - $200.

The first link above is to a kit from "Midwest Supplies" the second link is to "More Wine making" which is the same company as MoreBeer. I have used both web stores and have no complaints with either.
