Sure. You still haven't explained how GM crops are going to destroy this unique ecosystem. Do they not have any agriculture in Costa Rica? If not, do they import all of their food?

....to push unpopular GM crops.

Yeah, GM crops were unpopular with some people when Norman Borlaug "pushed" them as well. Those unpopular and dangerous GM foods ended up saving a billion people from starvation. Those evil GM crops also saved the environment from the havoc wreaked upon it my antiquated agricultural methods.

Morons, illiterates, chemicalphobes, and Luddites, always fear innovation. I have no doubt that there are many such people in Costa Rica. If progress were left up to these idiots, we'd still be standing around a bonfire wondering why no one ever lives to be 30.

'A reasonable concern is that the protein produced by Gene VI might be a human toxin.

OMG! Gene VI just jumped out of the plant and is forcing a protein down this poor man's throat. That can't be healthy. Get him some raw milk, stat!

Your argument on past GMO health related threads implied we are living longer and healthier lives because of GMO.

Now you drop that stance when it is regarding going into a country with one of the lowest cancer rates highest life expectancies.
