Best response that I was previously that that all children wishing to throw imaginary grenades should tell their “educators” (if one can really stomach using that word) that they were tossing imaginary condoms in approval of a passing gay parade.
I think the child should stay in school and imagine he is really suspended. Seriously... some of these educators are just beyond dumb.

Makes me wonder how I ever got through grade school! I shot more bad guys, Indians, nazis, japs, Union soldiers then
Confederate soldiers and criminals on the playground than anywhere else! Did I mention outer space monsters?
Maybe it was a neighbor who gave me a wooden handmade Tommy gun just before I started school who perverted me!

No boy would have lasted very long in school, in my school days. Most of us carried pocket knives, daily, and drew pictures of war planes & tanks when we were seated at our desks. Notice, by the way, that the insanity that this child, in the article, had to deal with, has contributed absolutely nothing to the safety of anyone, anywhere. On the other hand, it has subtly conditioned the child to have at least a minor doubt, if ever in combat as an adult, which just might cause a momentary hesitation in a situation that could cost him his life.
