In this video at 0:26 is a picture of ARGUS under a heavily armed drone. The aerial view of Quantico is just down the Potomac River from the White House. It is my guess that POTUS is protected by an ARGUS equipped armed drone that is authorized to use lethal force on US soil to protect POTUS.
Among the missions of the armed drone is to detect and defeat sniper ambushes, including ambush by mini-drones that might be employed by terrorists or assassins. I think all of these leaks about ARGUS and drones are aimed at softening up public opinion to awareness of an already existing presence of armed drones over the US.

It looks like www.gigapxl.org is down.
They used a surplus spy camera to make 4000 dpi images back when digital was just starting to overtake film.
Someone has developed a 50 gigapixel camera as a project. Bet it cost lots more than this one.
