In this video at 0:26 is a picture of ARGUS under a heavily armed drone. The aerial view of Quantico is just down the Potomac River from the White House.

Among the missions of the armed drone is to detect and defeat sniper ambushes, including ambush by mini-drones that might be employed by terrorists or assassins. I think all of these leaks about ARGUS and drones are aimed at softening up public opinion to awareness of an already existing presence of armed drones over the US.

It's sad members of the State Regulated Press (SRP)- like the New York Times and Washington Post aren't allowed to cover stories like this..

Thanks for the links - interesting stuff...

Note that the youtube at the thread link was taken from the PBS special! You can see a tiny PBS symbol on at 0:26 below the ARGUS-armed attack drone.

As I said:

“Among the missions of the armed drone is to detect and defeat sniper ambushes, including ambush by mini-drones that might be employed by terrorists or assassins.”

See my tag line for a possible Islamist/assassin attack vector that the ARGUS system could defend against by flying cover over Andrews just up-river from Quantico in position to detect and attack any attempted mini-drone helicopter or other kinetic drone attack on Air Force One in the vulnerable “runway kill zone” during take-off.

No on-board explosives would be required on the attacking drone as the kinetic mass of a GPS-guided drone applied in a huge jet turbofan would bring down an aircraft just as the Canada Geese did to Captain Sully.
