Nowhere does it indicate that the child was his, the wording is rather vague but it indicates

1. They have been dating for 4 years and

2. She had an abortion while in high school.

So if they're in the mid-twenties and she had the abortion when 16 or so, then it was long before they met. Not exactly a real conversation item after dinner and a movie, "by the way, when I was I kid I had an abortion". Sheesh, everyone has secrets.

"Not exactly a real conversation item after dinner and a movie"

sheesh? = No big deal?
This ain't a dinner and a movie
Its is a FOUR YEAR relationship
This isn't secrets about who she slept with 4 years ago, it is about murdering an inconvenient child- and it wasn't exactly a secret to everyone, just to him
abortion repulses this young man despite "Abby's" motional salve. He now sees his sexmate as cold, selfish and secretive to the point of deception. You don't date for 4 years and never discuss your moral values. How would you feel dating a guy for 4 years and then finding out he forgot to tell you he manslaughtered his child. oops.
Would this young man want the mother of HIS children to be this woman who aborted their half brother or sister for convenience? Are these the moral values he wants his children to be raised with by their mother?
As an adoptive parent, I have living proof that abortion is not necessary, there are humane loving ways to give up an inconvenient child, that abortion for convenience is state-sanctioned selfish manslaughter or murder. The child may be aborted but it will NEVER “go away”
