O’Reilly isn’t a journalist and he doesn’t claim to be - he’s a commentator and provocateur “for the folks”. And in that sense, he should do what he did to Colmes tonight more often, his ratings would go off the chart.
People are tired of politically correct bullsh!t and O’Reilly had enough. He was wrong in using the term “liar” just as the left was when they called Bush a liar for relying on the information he had at the time. It would have been more accurate to say that Colmes lacked specifics and was trying to say that while Obama may say he’s cut entitlements, give Colmes a week to research it and bring back examples. Then he could have won on the substance instead of just vocal volume.
