Coincidentally, I received a ‘coupon’ for 20% off@ JCPenney in this weeks mail.
A welcome and much desired return to sanity.

When JCP decided to go all-in on same sex marriage I decided to go all-out against them. I may mosey back if they straighten up. By the way, I always refer to Ellen DeGeneres as Ellen DeGenerate when I find myself in the unfortunate position of having to comment on her.

Belk is a very good store. I prefer it over my local Macy’s, which is half-stocked and always looks like they’re getting ready to close the doors. Belk is packed with merchandise.

Decided to see if they had an on-line store. http://www.belk.com/ So you are giving a thumbs up on this one?

Our American PC horse sh*t may be enjoying a certain vogue among politicians, but when it comes to the bottom line, all that fraud goes out the window.

Maybe they learned a math lesson ... queers 3% is a minor part of the overall market ... 97% is bigger than 3%.

Closer to 1% if even that, than 3%

Yes, I’d recommend Belk, although I’ve never bought anything online. I’ve shopped there all my life, and I worked there during my twenties. My shopping fiend mother-in-law loves the place.

When Uncle Ted shows up on TV advertising day-glo crop tops and cargo shorts.

[don’t hold yer breath]

The reason people like me stopped shopping there is because of the queer stuff.

The reason most of their customers stopped shopping there is because of the lack of sales (affects me, too).

Getting rid of the queer stuff will not make that much difference to overall revenue. Bringing back sales (which they are doing, some) will.

Attempting to base your business model on appealing to 2% of the population... who are totally incapable of sexual reproducing themselves... while at the same time pissing off about 30% of the population... isn't smart, its a death sentence!

Penneys is dying because they willfully chose to hitch their sales star to those steeped in moral perversion and chose a Degenerate to be their "spokesthing" for their Brave New World sales plan in spite of millions of former customers warning them against is and boycotting them ever since.

The next time someone dares to come up with the red herring that "Boycotts don't work" all you have to do is say... the fate of J.C. Penney proves that they do.

Americans want corporate neutrality in the culture wars, and when they don't find it, they will go elsewhere.

How's Amazon doing these days? Anyone seen their latest Kindle ad?

We’ve already been going elsewhere, because all of the big corporations practice the same pathological social policies in their offices. They’re all government-linked and have been pushing some of the most radical regulations against new, small competition.

* We avoid buying anything that we don’t really need.

* We’re learning or doing something at least once per month to become more self-sufficient.

* We’re learning to produce something useful as a hobby for now.

Especially after they hired that man-hating disgusting pervert Ellen Degenerate to trumpet their store, I vowed never to step in that store again. And I never will. JCP be go to hell!

As much as I agree with you, their pro-homo agenda did a lot to sink them, their lack of sales didn’t help either. I used to love to shop at their stores and use the coupons and get some really good deals. Their merchandise was of very good quality at very reasonable prices. I can’t tell you the last time I was in a JCP store, and my decision had nothing to do with their homosexual advertising.

Most balanced analysis I’ve read on this site. Well done. Johnson’s transformation plan was so radical that it confused shoppers and completely failed. That’s why he’s gone.

You'll get a dramatically different picture if you look at their earnings.

Net income decreased 45% to $97 million in the fourth quarter, or $0.21 per diluted share, compared with $177 million, or $0.38 per diluted share, in fourth quarter 2011.

Doesn't seem like much for a company with $120 billion market capitalization?

According to the WSJ, Ron never relocated from California (guess he likes paying the taxes) and typically worked 3 days a week.
