I was at the practice round there on Tuesday and followed him for a couple holes - the kid is the real deal. Tom Watson was in the foursome and he would stand back to watch Guan tee off. He would smile and shake his head once off the tee - alot of fun to watch.
the kid is having a pretty good 2 round too at 2 over par thru 13 when there are only 10 under par rounds from the entire field.
the course is playing really tought today.
Kid shot 75 today including a 1 stroke penalty enforced for slow play... He’s +4 and the current projected cut line is +6
