A US Lawyer who bigamously married a voodoo priestess stripper has been suspended from practising law for six months. Josef Rosenzweig was rumbled when FedEx sent the marriage certificate to his first wife who knew nothing of the affair.
Rosenzweig became smitten with 23 year old stripper Radiah Nunez when he watched her perform at the New York Dolls strip club on a boys' night out in 1995. The randy personal injury lawyer became a regular and eventually managed to make Nunez his mistress. In 2000 he installed her in an apartment, and later moved her to a convenient pad on upmarket Seventh Avenue, just around the corner from the home he shared with his wife and their two children.
But it wasn't all roses: Nunez was a Santerian priestess and sacrificed animals in the flat. Rosenzweig told the court she had "a very large altar with all kinds of unusual things upon it" and court papers obtained by the New York Daily News noted that her unorthodox lifestyle “pushed the boundaries of Mr. Rosenzweig’s comfort level”.
But not enough to stop him marrying her in a secret ceremony in Jamaica. Unfortunately for Rosenzweig, a few months after returning to New York to continue his double life, FedEx delivered the new marriage certificate to wife #1. She forced Rosenwzeig to boot out Nunez, cancel her allowance and annul the betrothal. And now it has got him suspended.
Rosenzweig told the court, “I betrayed the people who love me, who trust me, and everybody who knows me”, presumably before collapsing with terrible stabbing pains, dimly recalling that weird little doll Nunez made with a lock of his hair.
He’s just a bit too ahead of the curve.
Lawyer should fight it. They can’t make bigamy illegal if they recognize same sex marriage.
I HATE it when FedEx delivers incriminating evidence about me to people.

The guy sounds like a true, indoctrinated shrink who knows how to play a fiddle upside down.
