If the cells don’t have trapdoors leading to alligator pits, “not bad enough”.

Not a place I’d want to be...then again, I have no interest in blowing up women and children.

The European Court of Human Rights has rejected arguments ... and why was the court not convinced?
A) I don't GAF what the European Court of Human Rights is convinced of - or decides.
B) There shouldn't be a "super-max" prison. If some people are that big a threat to society, they shouldn't be breathing oxygen.

If some people are that big a threat to society, they shouldn't be breathing oxygen. I've wondered for a while why we have a 'life in prison' sentence. If they can be rehabilitated put a time limit on it. If they can't what purpose does terminal incarceration serve?

To hear the bleeding hearts tell it, it costs more to execute the b**tard than to keep him in prison.
I don't see how a needle in the arm costs more than feeding, clothing, sheltering and medically caring for a 19 year old loser who could conceivably live another 50 years or more.
To: Perdogg
The prison is home to about 360 inmates held under ultra-high security. I wonder how many millions of dollars it cost to build, and run, a facility for just 360 inmates.

Hopefully, his future home is a pine box. Which is still to good for him.

Too bad he’ll never leave solitary. ...the boyz will love him.

A Supermax cell is 8 square meters.
The official Soviet target for housing was 9 square meters per citizen (a goal which they never actually met during the 70+ year existence of the USSR)
To: Buckeye McFrog
In some circles the old soviet union could be classified as one giant supermax prison.

Liberals. Everything they touch in this country has - and always will - turn to $hit.

Extremely confined and isolated and controlled
That is the nature of it
He will likely be executed though outside chance his age or any info he has could save him
RUD in any event I’m sure
removal upon death.....life in feds means just that since 1987
If he is to be executed I imagine it will be at Terre Haute like McVeigh
Unless they do it elsewhere now
But Florence is really just solitary confinement with almost no human contact except thru video monitor
