Installed e-sword on my Samsung Tablet, works quite well. It uses/has available Bibles that are in the public domain other than the King James Version. I happened to give a donation (rather small) so the commentaries and other module would be available to use. Really like being able to have larger print and the back light, not that old but eyes focus better with the light.
Have WordSearch Basic on my PC. That is better and wish there was an “app for that.”

Found this one the other day. Bookmarked it on iPad. I am very impressed with the large amount of linked and related Bible study sources and info. I have not even searched out 1 percent of what’s available.
Right now I use the “parallel” function to display a verse in many different translations. Gives me a different perspective on interpretations, and a comparison when a particular version gets a little “different” from the others.

http://www.biblos.com is indeed very good.
We have 2000 years of commentary and analysis of the Christian Bible, and 1900 years of it is in the public domain.

I’m looking for a link to a line by line commentary on scripture.
Example: In I Samuel, when Saul first coming after David, David’s wife Michal put a teraphim in his bed and fooled Saul’s messengers into thinking he was laid up with an illness.
And I’m wondering...which teraphim? Ba-al? And what was David doing with a terapahim in his house in the first place?

Im looking for a link to a line by line commentary on scripture..... Example: In I Samuel, when Saul first coming after David, Davids wife Michal put a teraphim in his bed and fooled Sauls messengers into thinking he was laid up with an illness...... And Im wondering...which teraphim? Ba-al? And what was David doing with a terapahim in his house in the first place? Start here at Bible Hub by Biblos:
http://biblehub.com/
and work your way to verse-by-verse public domain commentaries here:
http://biblecommenter.com/1_samuel/19-13.htm
The freely available commentaries found at biblecommenter are found widely on the internet at a variety of sites. Biblos does a nice job of integrating many Bible versions and study resources.
