Here’s what I want to see:
1) A test conducted at a lab of an independent scientist; and
2) Where Rossi only supplies that reactor cylinder plus any power module needed; and
3) The device’s power module is run off the lab’s outlet, with the independent scientist supplying the equipment which measure’s power input; and
4) The device operating inside a calorimeter which can accurately measure heat output; and
5) The test running at least 48 hours.
This stuff has been happening for several years at this point, with no product and no really independent tests.
I got excited about the test results, because even though I am a skeptic, I really, really wish this stuff would pan out. I have been interested since Pon's and Fleishman's original work.
But in this case, sadly you are correct. I know they are interested in protecting their intellectual property, and in the end, they will either be wildly rich and famouse, or they will end up infamous.
Moving the goal posts.
Rational people will see this for what it is, a simple set of tests of a black box and independent verification of heat generated that is an order of magnitude beyond chemical capabilities. It’s not even as if the device was allowed to continue running, it was shut down before it could consume all its fuel.
Regular skeptics will acknowledge that this is reasonably powerful validation of LENR and even for (cough) Rossi. Skeptopaths will continue to move goal posts, come up with more ridiculous possibilities (have you heard the one about lasers being shined on the cylinder?) and basic unfounded denial.
