FULL TITLE: Couple return home from cinema to find their grandparents murdered and a naked man sexually abusing their daughter, 2, after he was released from jail for IDENTICAL attack four years ago
A couple returned home from the cinema to find a naked man had beaten their grandparents to death and was raping their two-year-old daughter.
Touch Chea, 71, and his wife, Sorn Sreap, 73, were found dead in Anchorage, Alaska, on Saturday night from significant blunt force injuries.
Police said both Sreap and the toddler were raped.
Officers arrested Jerry Andrew Active, 24, as he fled the east Anchorage homicide scene wearing just his boxer shorts The registered sex offender was later charged with first and second-degree murder, sexual assault and burglary.
Active was on parole for an almost identical attack he committed four years ago, according to the Anchorage Daily News.
In 2009 he entered a home in Togiak and sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl while the family slept. He then attacked three members of the family.
The 24-year-old served time in jail for attempted sexual abuse of a minor and trespassing in 2010 and 2011, court records show.
He was charged with violating his probation this spring and was supposed to be on probation until 2014.
Police said the younger couple, who are in their twenties, went to a movie on Saturday night with their son and left the two-year-old in the care of Chea and Sreap.
They returned shortly before 8pm and found the door locked from the inside by the chain, but peeking through they could see the body of one of their grandparents.

The article says “almost identical”, which is was in almost every aspect: break in; assault of the adults; sexual assault of a child.
Horrific. I hope the child gets the help she needs.
The sexual assault of an 11 year old, as horrific as it is, is most certainly not identical to the rape of a 2 year old.

Yes, you are right about that. I did see it, but then I just figured it was bad writing. Sad about all those people who actually get paid to write and then do such a bad job of it. And that’s before we get to the media bias angle. {sigh}
I didn’t read the link, but the excerpt says “identical”. Not to be contentious but I was a little surprised that a person who had murdered anyone in such a violent way would be out of prison just a few years later.
At least, as of now, it seems likely this scum will never get out of prison again.

Except they don’t have room in the jails and prisons, which makes one wonder why THAT point isn’t brought up for bringing in all these people from third world countries who are crowding these facilities.
That alone should be a strong point to keep them out.
A short probation for any of these crimes is itself criminal.

The article was very sloppy written.
The headline does indeed say “identical” (I missed that) but the excerpt says “almost identical” and the full article says “similar”.
This guy looks like a Latino, pudgy, street gang wanna be. I mean trying to look tough but in reality a pussy. Well, that is what is going to be for hopefully the rest of his life, as you say.
Alaska doesn't have the death penalty. Too bad the monster didn't resist the police more.

They've gone the way of all other morals and values. At one time even prisoners cared about certain justices. Now days, nothing matters.
This is sickening...particularly given what is going on here right now.
Two girls were kidnapped last Monday from a small town in Iowa. The guy told them that he was looking to hire some kids to mow yards; they were about three blocks from home and he said “jump in” and we’ll make sure your parents are OK with it.
Of course, he just left town with them. When they stopped, he took the 15 year old somewhere. The 12 year old (whose wrists were zip-tied) had the presence of mind to take his gun out of the truck, and ran into the woods...she kept running until she came out the other side having lost her shoes and shredded her clothing. A passer-by found her and they called 911 immediately.
Unfortunately, by the time they located this cretin’s truck, it was 20 miles away and he had committed suicide. After a week of looking, no sign of the victim. Blood was found at the scene and in his truck bed.
THIS PIECE OF CRAP got out of jail two years ago after serving 20 years of a 40 year sentence.
What had he done to get put into prison when he was 20?
KIDNAPPED three year old twins, who were later found alive in dumpster.
KIDNAPPED and assaulted a 20 year old girl who was injured but not killed.
And then, out comes the crap that he did when he was a juvenile (the victim spoke up). He KIDNAPPED at gunpoint and attempted to sexually assault a classmate when he was 16; she was walking home from her paper route. She resisted and he pistol whipped her..she needed 100 stitches and has no idea what he actually did to her because she was unconscious.
In addition, he perpetrated a similar crime (cannot remember the details) while he was also a juvenile.
So, this piece of human debris, having proven multiple times that he should have been permanently removed from the gene pool, was let out of prison and now this happens.
In addition, given where he grew up and the fact that he likes to kidnap children, pretty much everyone assumes that he is also responsible for the kidnapping and murder of two young girls that occurred last Summer about 80 miles away from his current residence (and very close to where he grew up).
Why are these freaks walking around amongst the general public?? They cannot be rehabilitated; how many more innocents have to die or have their lives ruined before this situation is addressed?
