Personal close analysis has revealed that what he wears is actually an antique coiled snake ring either Saudi or Egyptian. That kind of ring has usually represented the wearer’s dedication to the Egyptian snake god “Apep.”

I don’t understand how any woman would allow her husband to keep wearing a ring he got from somebody else, as a wedding ring.

Perhaps his mother or grandparents left it to him? But even if that - it shouldn't be worn as a wedding ring.
