One can only imagine what the Marines think about all of these current revelations, corruption and scandals.
I was told by my U.S. Army instructors that the specialness of the Marines was “99% eyewash”. But it was still the service I was interested in joining considering where that was coming from. It may be better there, but I can’t speak to it, because I’m not one, and never became one. I can’t imagine they’d be unaffected by what’s happened to the rest of our military. But maybe Marines on here could speak to that. I’d hate to think the Marines my uncle, my cousins, and neighbor were are extinct. Hopefully there are Oath Keepers everywhere.
As a Marine mom who keeps her son up to date on some things, it keeps him aware of the possibilities of repercussions due to the world view of the community-organizer-in-chief, and as he is always ready to go, he knows it could now be anywhere in the world.
