Accuracy is not an issue with my automatics or my wheel guns.

So if half of the police force was involved, there must have been a fairly lengthy chase. Did 25 officers open fire at the end of the chase? Or was this a hollywood style driving shootout? I hope there weren’t officers driving and firing from their moving vehicles like a bunch of Steven Segal wannabees.

Car chases get a cop’s adrenalin level up and judgement can go out the window. That said, some sergeant or officer should have radioed a stop shooting order as the chase went on and bullets were being fired indiscriminately.

I assume some were fired before the stop due to the high numbers of shots fired during the event. If stopped, any officer should not fire immediately, unless warranted and not so many times due to the risk the shots will go astray.

Methinks someone was feeling a little too much Bonnie & Clyde that day:

How about sending them to the range for practice instead?

No, no, no, they may be the ones knocking on your door coming for your guns.

We have to demand that LEO’s have an IQ greater than 60. I suggest at least 90.

Then you would have chiefs and no Indians.

“We have to demand that LEO’s have an IQ greater than 60. I suggest at least 90. Any higher than that they’ll notice they have better opportunities at McDonald’s.”

Lol. Nice. When I was military the threat in training was, “You fail, we’ll make you a cook or a cop...and you better hope they don’t need cops.”

In the words of Roland Deschain, “They’ve forgotten the faces of their fathers”.

If they ever knew their father.

If they shoot someone outside of a car-”I felt threatened.” If they shoot someone in a car or at least near a car-”he tried to ram me.”

That is SOP for smaller venues. Small towns don’t want to hire someone who will stay just long enough to get job experience on his resumé.

Dare I ask why they were chasing 137 bullets?

Ammo shortage.

I think that was Boston. They feared he would leave when he found out how boring the job was.

In Cleveland, they could use those rounds to reduce the number of parasites in that cesspool......try some range-time.

If the range put up dog targets, you can bet they’d be shootin better.

Do you really want the people who are most likely to be coming for your guns to spend more time engaged in target practice?

IQ isn’t the issue. A lack of judgement and responsible thinking is the issue. Cops are used to walking away from their mistakes.

I was being a bit fatuous. I know LEO’s have a hard time and the only stories that come out are the ones like this and the dog shootings.
