Former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz) fired a gun Monday for the first time since she was shot in January 2011.
As odd as it might seem, she did this as she and her husband Mark Kelly set off on their "Rights and Responsibilities" bus tour pushing for stricter gun control laws.

These fascist, elitist hypocrites are much worse than those idiot Marxists who try to ban normal rifles and magazines without having any idea what they are or what they do. They are blatant about taking something away from me that they themselves have and use. Mark Kelly has 17 round magazines for his Glock, and has gone on record saying there is nothing wrong with a 17 round magazine. But that didn’t stop him from coming to Colorado to testify that it was vital to public safety that we not be allowed to have magazines over 15 round. There is no lower form of life than a lying, elitist, fascist, hypocrite.
It didn’t stop mx. mark kelley-giffords from coming the Nevada to lobby for intergalactic background checks either. You know, the ones that would only affect law abiding citizens and do nothing concerning the bad guys. He’s a disgrace the US Navy and to the astronaut corps as well. Gotta agree with another comment about letting someone who has suffered severe brain damage handle a weapon too. But that might be discrimination against brain damaged folks. (With connections.)

No, she didn’t “give” the pistol to her husband..She was kind of waving it around, appeared unable to “ungrip” it, and her husband quickly removed it from her hand.
Anybody do a background check on her? Should the (if any) firearms in their home be confiscated due to her diminished mental capacity? That’s what they were pushing for here in NV on SB221. Some “trained psychologist” makes an assesment, finds you have diminished mental capacity, submits your name to a centralized data base and pooff! No gun for you. Was the assessment correct? Only the “trained psychologist” word is what put your name on the list. News Alert. Not all of these “trained psychologists” graduated at the top of their class. A lot of them don’t know their ass from a hole in the ground. But, they got a sheepskin to prove how much smarter they are than the rest of us deranged individuals.
Here in Colorado, what her husband did (taking possession of the handgun after she shoots) is now a crime if the magazine holds more than 15 rounds.
