FULL TITLE: EXCLUSIVE - The death threats, the rows and a scandal over unpaid tips: The most infamous couple from Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares take on their critics

The most infamous couple ever to star on Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares have told how they were left fearing for their lives after being subjected to death threats following their TV debut.

Millions watched as fiery chef Ramsay walked out on Amy and Samy Bouzaglo, who own Amy’s Baking Company in Scottsdale, Arizona, after a string of rows while filming the Fox reality show.

Having been accused of stealing their staff’s tips and taunted over the quality of their food on the show, Amy and Samy were then bombarded by threats made in late night phone calls and online.

And speaking exclusively for the first time, Amy, 40 – who insists that THEY stopped the filming - told MailOnline: ‘Physically, this has taken a huge toll on me.’

She said the couple have been forced to call the police and make reports to the FBI, adding: ‘Over the past couple of months, we’ve gone from being completely unknown to having people call us at 3am saying they’re going to break into our house with a rifle, rape me and kill my husband.

Seriously whacked out trophy wife.
Hubby seems to know something of whacking people from his vegas days.

The husband admitted to old Gordo that he was stealing his help’s tips. And I believe both of them are ex-cons.

If you actually read the contract for the staff, it was not employment but slavery. I’ve never heard of a company that docks your pay for the day, including federal holidays when you call in sick and your tips are property of the house. These ghouls deserve the scorn.

I saw that show. She reminds me of the people in DC. Delusional.

“We have three boys—but they’re in cat bodies.” Gordon was gobsmacked by Amy.
And did you know Sammi is wanted in France for extortion? What a gruesome twosome.

What a scuzzy pair. He’s an admitted Vegas thug and low-rent Hugh Hefner wanna be, she’s a deranged ‘showgirl’. Together they’re dangerous. Both have criminal records.
Check out their ‘contract’ for employees. Yahoo news had it online. It states ‘tips are the property of the house and will not be shared with wait staff’. Food that is returned is docked from servers salaries, customers are screamed at-and she can’t cook. Claimed she made all the perfect pastries then admitted she buys them and insisted that was the same thing all establishments do. We’re talking seriously insane people. I’d like to know what the local press there says about them. How are they still in business?

Why would any waitstaff want to work in a restaurant in which tips are considered property of the house?

Why would any waitstaff want to work in a restaurant in which tips are considered property of the house?

Because Ubama has killed 30,000,000 jobs?

I wondered about that too. They went through over a hundred kids one year. All I can figger is they go directly to the unemployment office with their ‘terminated w/o valid legal cause’ claim.

One of the jobs I had in college and grad school was schlepping tables and drinks. I have nothing but respect for good wait staff.

I saw that episode on TV. I’ll believe Chef Ramsey. The other two, my beloved grandmother would call them goniffs.

Thank you for the update,

Over the past couple of months, we’ve gone from being completely unknown to having people call us at 3am

If you want to remain unknown, don't get yourself on TV.

I have no sympathy for these people. They're getting exactly what they asked for.

People like Zimmerman or the Duke lacrosse team are the ones I feel sorry for. Just trying to live their lives, and then one day somebody's ideological truck runs over them.

The whole schlemiel sounds like a play for publicity. From the end of the article.

“We have a different kind of clientele’, said Amy: ‘We’ve become a summer tourist attraction, we’re humbled when people ask for pictures with us.

‘We’re printing T-shirts that say ‘I survived Amy’s Baking Company’, ‘Here’s your pizza, go f**k yourself’’,’I’m the Gangster, and’ I speak Feline, MEOW!!’ We’re making cherry lemonade out of lemons. Never in my life would I have thought the show would launch us into this kind of stratosphere.

As far as the Bouzaglos go? Could be .....
I read somewhere Amy thought going on the show would be good publicity, that for the first time ‘Kitchen Nightmares’ would be stymied. But as it turned out it was the first time in over 160 episodes that Ramsay pulled the plug.

It sounds like the show was outstanding publicity. They’re famous now.

I didn’t know she faked the pastries! She claim to be a pastry chef and it was the only thing Gordon complimented her on!
