Dr. Porsche has agreed that many people think his car is a good place to start, and customization can make it even better.
The good Doctor was, as in so much else, spot on. My old RS America was spec’ed to curb at just 2954 lbs, but shave a few hundred off that, breathe on the engine and exhaust a bit, uprate the brakes to Turbos, and it was a whole ‘nother animal. Docile when necessary, the handling and agility were superb, while the braking was simply supernatural. And there was still more to be done....
