No. This bill has no chance. AR lowers have already been dropping in price in a big way.
AKs don’t have lowers. I don’t know anyone who actually does the 80% AK receiver. It’s just much easier to get a flat and bend it. Done.
And even if that law passed, those kits would just be used to build an AK pistol. No assault rifle. Then once it was built, just convert the pistol to a rifle. No laws broken.

Still, better to get a letter-writing campaign spun up than to show complacency - that's all the bed-wetters need is a lack of pushback on anything they come up with.
