I wouldn’t use the only starship ticket I had to go to this swamp.

I wonder how the fishing is? It's a little warm and humid and I'm not sure a boat would float in gravity like that. But I bet the fish are big and fight hard.

Whether or not a boat floats depends on it’s density compared to the density of water. Buoyancy is the same. Actually surface gravity would only be about about 3% higher than on earth. ( 7/(2.6)^2). You would hardly notice the difference. Animals might be slightly smaller to reduce the stress on bones.

Actually, it’s 40% as dense as Earth; gravity on the surface would only be 4% higher than what we’re used to.

This is interesting. From my memory of basic physics, gravitational pull is directly proportional to mass (seven times the mass, 7 times the pull), and inversely proportional to the square of the distance from center of mass to center of mass [2.6 times the radius = 1/(2.6 squared)]. This calculates out to a surface gravity of 84% of Earth gravity. So, actually somewhat less than Earth's!
