Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, a grassroots organization of more than 100,000 members, issued the following statement regarding the recall election results in Colorado:
“The gun lobby may have won this local battle, but they will not win the national war. The National Rifle Association purposely called this recall election in Colorado – just a year before the regular election cycle – to ensure voting obstacles and low voter turnout. This reckless desire to remove legislators from office in an off-election year cost Coloradans more than $500,000 – an egregious waste of taxpayer dollars.
From the outset, this recall was designed as a tool of intimidation funded by the gun lobby. What a ridiculous temper tantrum by a bunch of bullies – moms know them when we see them . . .
Fortunately, the recalls do not impact the new gun laws signed into law earlier this year by Gov. Hickenlooper. The Colorado state legislature did the right thing by passing common-sense gun laws, requiring background checks for all gun buyers and limiting magazines to 15 rounds. This recall doesn’t change those laws – laws that will continue to protect Colorado families from senseless gun violence.
As moms, we are sad, angry, and more determined than ever to stand with those who stand for gun sense. There will be dozens, maybe even hundreds of elections next year, and we will organize and vote for lawmakers who support common-sense gun laws like background checks. Moms will stand with those lawmakers who stand with us, and we will not back down until gun laws are strengthened in every state in this nation.
"Maybe" there will be hundreds of election next year...gee, ya think? Sweetie, between the House of Representatives, the Senate, and the myriad of state-level legislative seats there are going to be thousands of elections next year, Talk about your low-information voters!
This mommy packs heat. I got my CCW while pregnant with my third, actually. It’s certainly fine that these moms choose not to protect their children and themselves; however, they do not have the right to deny me the choice to protect my children.
Listening to groups like this reminds me of the teacher in the Charlie Brown TV specials:

Looks like the “Million MOO’s” are at it again.
They didn’t purposely set the recall election a year before the regular election. They purposely set the recall election shortly after those scummy Colorado senators voted to violate the Second Amendment because they thought it would be popular with the voters.
We agree, liberals are the biggest bunch of bullies around. They will permit absolutely no deviation from the liberal platform.
Women like this makes me want the 19th amendment to be repealed.
Keep whining sweetie.

My daughter is a mom of Millions more than this twit who feels it necessary to keep a 357 Magnum revolver kept safely in a GunVault to protect herself and her three daughters at home while her husband is away making a living.
Show me that picture that shows more than 10 stupid women as in this picture.
The importance of these recalls is seen with the amount of whining and squealing like “stuck pigs” the left has been about it. They cannot contain their anguish when they really get nailed.
I am waiting for their inevitable cursing of Colorado voters, which Debbie Whatsherface-Schultz has already begun by insisting that there was massive voter suppression and vote fraud and “It’s not faiiiiir! They Cheeeted!”
Where would the anti-Constitution statists do without their beloved feds and their police powers?

The face of an uncaring “mother”; someone that thinks being unarmed against violent attackers somehow keeps her kids safe; someone that thinks the President should have armed guards, banks and their money should have armed guards, but somehow her children should only be protected by a sign saying “no guns”.
