2) My daughter dressed as Harriet Tubman one year. I figured, "Why the heck not? What's wrong with a little blackface?"

My Grandson went as a gangster two years ago and it didn’t seem odd at all. He went as an angry bird last year. It looked awful and his Mother tried to talk him into something else but he insisted.
I think my Granddaughter goes as a princess every year.

I don’t see anything inappropriate about Robert E. Lee either. I also love the Gangster one. Surprised anyone could even find one as most of them seem to be taken by BO’s and Holder’s staff members.
