exactly. book smart and street stupid is no help in the current climate. conservatives need to dump anyone who cannot extemporaneously explain why John Rawls’ work is crap. it’s the lib philosophical bedrock and it’s driving the US into the toilet. conservative pundits have to be able to articulate its flaws and do so repeatedly in public. can’t do it? well NPR is hiring.

Exactly! If it took years for him to recognize Obama for what he is, he’s pitiful. And to this day he won’t come out and call him out for what he is. He’s gutless, to say the least.
