Somehow Ross Perot’s term “a giant sucking sound” comes to mind.
I agreed with Ross Perot then, and I agree with Ross Perot now.

The only difference is Ross was talking about Mexico, which lost the low end jobs to China, which is losing them to Indonesia and Vietnam.
Too bad ol’ Ross Pee-row was such a caricature and a paranoid one at that. I don’t know about President, but this country definitely could have used him in some capacity, and we wouldn’t be in quite as sad a shape now, economically. He knew what was coming and made no bones about it.
