Art Bell - Dark Matter Cancelled by Art as of tonight!

Art Bell show on Sirius radio was being pirated by many and streaming free, he said, everywhere. Many haven't been able to hear Art's show as they could not pay for Sirius radio so Art tried to get Sirius radio to cut a deal with Sirius for the show be free as it aired. Only the night it aired.

Today the news came through, the deal didn't:

"Sometimes when you are "all in" you win, sometimes lose. By mutual agreement Dark Matter will no longer air as of tonight" ~ Art Bell

Whatever it takes. Art Bell is the consummate professional on air. Art Bell knows how to do a good interview which is rare, and an art in itself. His show is pure entertainment for me, not unlike the old Alfred Hitchcock shows and Twilight Zone. I have missed hearing Art's show on the local Clear Channel affiliate ever since they foisted Noory upon us.

“Beowulf9 your link doesn’t work and I could find nothing about Art Bell quitting.”

Yeah, I’m sorry. Naturally, Facebook, you have to belong to it and then you have to be accepted as one of his friends. Believe me, he did make that announcement.

The John Titor time travel story was captivating also. Art has a gift for bringing a strange story, no matter how improbable, to life- Much like Orson Wells did.

Perhaps someone took it down because it is not there anymore nor is it on his web site.

If there has been a misunderstanding on the part of Sirius, Art Bell's huge fan base combined with Art Bell's honesty and good reputation among radio professionals, should help catapult him back onto the airwaves, either tonight via satellite, or in the very near future via another broadcast medium.

Well said, TADSLOS. For me, Art Bell's shows have always been theater of the mind done well and done large.

He left coast-to-coast because of me.... in a way.

It was those UFO parts, affectionately dubbed "Art's Parts", which he sent to Linda Molton Howe to test. Unfortunately she didn't have an ounce worth of brains and couldn't have poured water out of a boot with instructions on the heel.

I was a member of Art's email list art-bell-fans or something like that. I predicted that the first set of parts would be all terrestrial, 99% aluminum, stronger than regular alloy, and sinterized. All of my predictions came true. This brought a lot of heat onto Art Bell. He doesn't handle anxiety very well, so he quit. All of the archives were "lost", which is what the military needed.

The following famous rant from Stan Deyo was actually something he wrote to me and someone calling himself MJ-SETI on the art-bell-fans list. We were in the middle of a colossal debate where I proved that UFOs were secret weapons from the allied military. MJ-SETI eventually became so convinced of the position that he started chasing after lots of others on the art-bell-fans list, causing lots of invective. Stan Deyo was obviusly full of bowlsheet but he was one of the "ufo authorities" at the time.

Subject: [ART] Manmade "UFOs"

Look guys,
I have sat and listened to you debate whether or not mankind has had the technology to make high-speed circular plan air/spacecraft since the end of WWll until I feel I must give you the perspective from one who was involved in the man-made craft design in the United States and in Australia in the 1971-73 period.

I realise that no matter what proof is offered to some of that you will find reason to not accet it; so I am simply going to tell you a few things from personal experience which you can accept or reject as the mood strikes you - for in turth there is no objectivity in proving anything to someone else.

The Greeks got it wrong.  A person chooses what he/she wants to believe about anything and THAT is the bottom line.

In this instance let me say that I was recruited into the periphery of the American electric propulsion projects by Dr James R Maxfield in Dallas Texas in 1971 on behalf of Dr Edward Teller et al at Lawrence Livermore Radiation Labs.

I was recruited because I talked too openly about two private research projects I was running at my home.  One dealt with a way to make stacked electric fields using three field coils pulsing Dc at right angle to each in the physical field vector sense and out of phase to each other by 120 degrees.  The other dealt with a way to convert ambient molecular energy to electricty straight out of the environment using a pumped or resonating molecular circuit which could parametrically convert the extremely high molecular pulses in a mechanically resonant system into higher speed electrons in a coupled tuned circuit.

I was advised of the operations along these lines at our South Pole operations which both Teller and Maxfield had visited by submarine several times.  I saw photos of the two of them together there. I was also advised that I was late in the game since they had already overseen and funded some fifty other projects in "anti-gravity" (their choice of words - not mine) since the early fifties.  I was just another potential problem in essence as I had stumbled across the rudiments of the theories involved.  They did not mention the alien hypotheses to me there.  I was not briefed in this area until I got to the Australian Aeronautical Rsearch Labs at Fisherman's Bend in Victoria in late 1971.

There I learned about other craft and other beings which were definitely not from our culture. They had been in evidence here for far too long before we had stumbled onto the gravitic technology.  There I learned about the projects which had trained my mind (when I was a cadet at the US Air Force Academy) and many others chosen for the new espionage units and for the new think tanks of the mind.... There I was received extremely well by giants in the community like Sir John Williams and Sir Henry Sommerset.

When I found that these men and Teller's group back home had been holding back all this wonderful technology, I hit the roof.  I demanded to know why we had not used this technology base to help the starving nations and to alleviate pollution problems and so forth.  Their answers were not good enough nor quick enough to avoid a head-on collision and it was not long before I was shut out of the group and left to fend for myself.... in fact, they tried to bury me at the bottom of a very deep (5000ft) mine shaft in the Ballarat mine fields of Victoria not long afterwards...

This is but a brief and flimsy precis of my involvement in the group.  I am aware that they were afraid of an "enemy" who was "winning the war" against the group or possibly humanity at that time.  Whether this enemy was the much-rumoured "alien race(s)" I cannot say.

I did design a plasma-drive flying saucer.  I was not the first to do so and I was shown the failings of my design.  Certainly it worked; but the high temperatures of operation were not without many failures in the early models of the late fifties.  The seal on the recirculation cupola at the top kept overheating and in some cases causing fire within the system.  Because the plasma formed an envelope which recirculated around the outside of the disk and then underneath and through the arc chamber, when a fire did occur it was a real problem.  The smoke could not escape easily and so blinded the crew when it enveloped them in darkness.  In the early days, flame-jet generators were used to heat the air and produce the pulsed DC, electric currents to drive it.  This required a number of on-board nitrogen, carbon dixode and oxygen tanks to produce the plasma and the power.... There were a lot more problems to do with electro-thermal heating and cooling but suffice it to say that these craft were not the most practical thing ever envisioned by man except for their incredible speeds.... And, by the way, in these craft inertial changes still hurt and produced high-g stresses on everything in the craft....

I was shown photos in Australia inside an assembly area where the newer and definitely more desireable craft were being put together.  I was shown the overview without the hull and close-ups of the main field drive which is a torroidal series wrapped in flat copper bar around a square cross-sectioned doughnut with a small arch in it at one spot where the coils arch over to the other half to close the circuits.

This craft used pulsing DC currents in a high-speed spinning vortex which produced local inertial accelerations on the mass within its definition.  Gravity is a function of spin in a fluid or mobile mass such as a gas.  Gravity is a right angle inertial pressure reduction to a high-speed flow of the fine-structure (aether).  All mass does accelerate at the same rate in a vacuum.  Ultra-dense masses can actually fall slower than they should.

Anyway, this new craft produces an all-permeating field which links the mass of the entire ship together.  When vector changes are required, the energy-density of the main field is raised and then bent to change directions.  This produces time dilation effects inside the craft and in the nearby air or water or ambient matter.  The craft seems to turn a corner at breakneck speeds to the ground observer; but it is not so inside the craft.

For, inside the field, since the energy density has been raised for the turn,.. when the turn begins the crew see the outside world going slower than themselves.  If this were not the case then the inertia of the turn would have to be uniformly distributed within the mass of the ship and this would still cause su=ignificant g-force effects.  We were told to imagine ourselves being dropped off a tall building to the ground below without a chute.  We were told that the time spent in reducing the vertical component of our fall velocity would be so short as to cause structural fatigue (ie we would be flattened on impact).  However, we were asked to imagine that had been housed inside a ball made of some impact-resistant metal and furthermore that we had been strapped into a second ball inside the outer one which would allow us to spin around on impact when we hit the ground.

We saw immediately what was implied: If the inertial exchange of the impact was distributed over enough seconds of spin, then the only effect to us would be nausea from the spin and some minor disorientation from  the gravitational effect of the varying spin rate.

Inertia is gravity.  Gravity is an effect produced at right angle to any flow in the fine structure.  Because of this, there are preferred shells of zero gravity or net zero shells within any gravitational system whether it be an atom or a galaxy or something in between.  On earth gravity is not straight down, nor is it a constant nor is it undiminishing toward the centre of the planet.  There are several radii where gravity would appear to reverse and pull back toward the surface.... In many ways this effect is akin the LaGrange soulution to the multiple body perturbation problem.

Planets do orbit where they have to because of the net between the divergent waves and the convergent waves of energy in the fine structure in motion around and relative to the Sun.

I wish there were more time for me to settle your academic squabblings about issues which - quite frankly - are most low on the priority list for your survival at the moment. Soon enough... all too soon, these discussions will no longer be necessary.... There has been a unknown world of technologists living right amongst you for decades and you have not realised it.  Your elections, your food, your movies, your television, your education and many other social constructs have been totally controlled by groups of people who have had  the knowledge and, hence, the power to dictate terms to society as they see fit.

It is too late for me to tell you to wake up and get a real life... It is far too late for that.  As Art says so eloquently, "It's the Quickening".... and you are all being swept away by it in your induced stupor...

I hope you are on good terms with the Creators (God).... because NOW would be a good time to be that way.

May you fare well in the coming catastrophic events.....

This from his Twitter Account as to what led up to this:

“Art makes an important announcement concerning the future of the show. He’s concerned that the SiriusXM streaming mobile app and web player are not up to the job (1001 errors) and suggests that we (artbell.com) serve the program LIVE using other Internet streaming protocols (Icecast), to allow a more favorable listening experience and to allow the streaming of the LIVE program for FREE all over the world.

You would still use your SiriusXM subscription to listen to the archives on demand, and be able to download programs with your SiriusXM mobile app to listen while off line. The LIVE program would be available for 4 hours each of the 4 days a week via an alternative streaming service, on ArtBell.com, allowing a larger audience to call in and participate.”

“...come out of his freezer and have little chats with him...”

That’s too bad. I like the stories that are “out there” but told in such a manner that makes one think “well, perhaps”. Isn’t that the story where he said he was just about to make things public, and show the body, but the unmarked black SUV’s showed up at his house and took the body from the freezer (in his garage?).

Now THAT is the way to end the story, with an image of the huge warehouse and the “Lost Ark” being stored away in your mind. (Or autopsy tables at Area 51, take your pick.)

The original alien in the freezer story was good, it was the more believable ones. There is probably no chance the alien would live long-term, nor come out and amiably chat with his captor occasionally.

That Night
by Me

The phone rang on the night stand. The older man asleep there stirred a bit and finally picks up the phone. It says its 11:49 PM. He mutters something under his breath as he sees who is calling him.

“Frank it’s 11:49 at night. Why are you calling me?”

“George, get your gun and get in your truck and get down here”

“I was asleep Frank, some of us sane people do that”

“Just get down here”

Frank had hung up. George rolled into a sitting position and sighed heavily before he started putting his boots on.

....

An old truck rambled over a bumpy dirt road in the dark, trees closing in on both sides. It came to a house with another ancient rusty truck sitting in front of it.

George left his shotgun on the seat as he got out and walked up to the front step. Just as he got there the door swung open quickly and a hand grabbed his arm and pulled him in. Then the door shut and was locked again.

“What’s going on Frank? What is so important that you woke me up in the middle of the night?”

But Frank was in his face “Promise me you won’t tell nobody”

“Promise I won’t tell anyone what?” George asked “Have you been drinking again?”

“I wish. That would make it so much easier”

“Make what easier?”

“Do you promise?” Frank said, in his face again.

“All right, yes, I promise” George was thinking about leaving.

“I caught one” Frank said, almost in a whisper.

“You caught one? You caught one what?”

Frank looked down and then licked his lips. “I caught an alien”

“Are you out of your mind? You woke me up and got me down here to play alien games, Frank? Some of us need sleep, you know?”

Frank was just standing there silently. George found that eerie.

“He’s in the kitchen”

George looked at the empty door frame to the kitchen. “Let me see”

George swept past Frank and stood in the doorway.

“At least I think it’s a he” Frank said.

There in the middle of the kitchen was a dining chair. Something was tied down really good. Frank had learned his knots in the Navy. There was no give in the ropes no matter how much the thing in the chair struggled. It was facing away from where George was standing.

George backed up and sat on the fraying couch. Rubbing his face and thinning hair.

“George, what do you think?”

Truthfully George didn’t hear the question. Or rather he heard it but didn’t register it.

“I think it’s hungry” Frank said “I don’t know what they eat”

“They?” George asked, suddenly scared “You think there are more of them out there?”

“I think so. I think they’re watching and waiting for a chance to rescue him” Frank said “But I’m guarding him.”

“What are you going to do with him?” George asked

“He’s my prisoner. An illegal alien that I will turn in tomorrow to the authorities” Frank said, sounding proud of himself.

“That” He said pointing at the kitchen “That guy, flew across the galaxy to visit this planet and gets taken prisoner by a crazy old man. Don’t you think they have would have tools and weapons we can’t even dream about?”

Frank looked disappointed.

“What?” George asked, dreading the answer.

“I was a bit rough with it, I mean him. I think he’s mad. If we let him go, he might kill me.”

“So let’s create an interstellar incident instead?”

“I’m scared George”

“There is no way he’s alone. You’re probably right that they’re watching this house. They are not going to let you bring this guy to the sheriff’s office in the morning. It’s just not going to happen, Frank. I think we both know that”

“So what am I supposed to do George?”

George did not have answer. He hadn’t thought that far ahead yet.

that’s the guy.

It was such a great story too, but he changed it so much now you know with 100% certainty he is a full of crap.

I half expected Art to say “now wait just a minute... last time you said such and such” but he just got the worst disappointment in his voice I had ever heard, and spent the rest of the evening saying “oh really”

but he had lost that excited “OMG can you folks BELIEVE THIS!?” energy he can bring to any topic

You’re welcome, NormsRevenge. The way Bell subtly conveys a shared wink with his radio audience if the topic goes far afield or if one of his live phone-in callers suddenly begins sounding three sheets to the wind, shows how professional Art Bell really is.

Bell never berated nor insulted any of his guests, nor callers, which unfortunately seems to be a rarity in most quarters these days. Art Bell is a true entertainer, a professional and from all appearances, a good person.

When his long time friend and baritone voiced “wanna take a ride” voice-over guy volunteered his services again just for Art, I believe that was due to Art being an all around good friend to those who know him personally and just basically a good guy. If this latest rumor turns out to be fact, I hope that Art Bell will be invited onto another broadcast medium and very soon.
