I loved most of the topics he discussed. The one I really couldn't stand, though, was the guy who played snippets of recordings backwards and claimed to hear messages in them. They were so stupid. I would scream, inside my head, "Make the guy ask Art what is being said, not tell us before he plays it what it says." He was planting the suggestion of what it said in an unintelligible garble.
Later, the guys who recorded ghosts would do the same thing. Art would never ask them to play first, and then see if we would hear it the same way without being told what it said.
But otherwise, great entertainment.
I loved the new show. Loved that he got the same guy to say, “Wanna take a ride?” He got Keith Rowland to do the graphics again. The show had few commercials and it was genuine Art Bell quality.
I was one of the people he called to give their ghost story on Spooky Matter. I’m on in the last 30 min, about footsteps down our hall, Phoenix. Believe me, as a long time lover of Art Bell, I was thrilled to pieces.
