If she runs in Ak, we’ll find out for sure. Their next senate election is Nov 2014 and the primary filing deadline is June 1. Begich the D incumbent won in 08 the “year of Baraq” with a Clintonian plurality, so if she’s as popular as FR seems to think, she’d be a lock.
If she runs in Arizona against McLame, that won’t be until 2016 unless he croaks first. Flake is in til end of 2018 as he got elected a year ago.
