Canned vegetables are coming more and more from China. If you are not going fresh and using canned beware.

Garlic in Fiesta was from china. I'm not so sure that some of our Veggies are also being
sent from there and I cannot imagine what cesspool they're being grown next to.

It takes almost no space to grow. And the difference in taste between the gourmet varieties and what you get at the store, even the California grown stuff, is just amazing.

My wife was surprised when she brought home some store brand apple juice. Nowhere did the label say “made in china”. However, printed on the bottle next to the expiration date there it was.

Considering the problem with dog treats from china our family won't touch the stuff. Luckily we have a fruit stand that specializes in apple cider.

And yes to all those who have seen me rant on the free trade threads my position is maturing.
