Like most other sports, marathoning is shot through with PEDs, and the Kenyans are the worst of the cheaters. Many have been caught, men and women. Freakish times, acceleration at will at any point in the race, no hitting a wall at 20+ miles. Not even interesting to watch now.

I have been attending the Boston Marathon for over 60 years.(It goes through my neighborhood.)
It has become a big bore.
