Re: Jack Ruby

My husband and I were fond of watching “What’s My Line” in those days and were truly shocked at the murder of Dorothy Kilgallen, a WML panelist. Mystery solved on P.299 of Stone’s book. Apparently she was the only reporter granted a personal interview with Ruby and was working on a book which she told friends would “blow the JFK case sky-high.” All the notes for her book disappeared at her death.

IMO Stone has done a public service by putting all the pieces together.

Interesting how the truth eventually comes out little by little. Wish I could be around for the 100 year observance of the assassination.

Roger Stones publicity mail-out has this (from Amazon) via Robert Morrow (”expert”)

“By late November, 1963, the Kennedys were within days of politically executing and personally destroying Lyndon Johnson via a two track program: 1) a devastating RFK-fed LIFE Magazine expose of LBJ’s astounding corruption and 2) an RFK-nurtured Senate Rules Committee investigation into LBJ’s habit of taking large bribes and kickbacks.”

I have no idea if this is so, at least the Time Life part should be something that could be corraborated.

I had not thought about the Dorothy Kilgallen murder in years and it did lead to much speculation about the Ruby interview and the disappearance of her notes. It also reminds me of a book titled A TEXAN LOOKS AT LYNDON by J. Evetts Haley which was widely circulated during the Goldwater LBJ presidential race. Clearly, the truth about the JFK assassination is yet to be made known. Perhaps the Kilgallen murder was warning enough to other reporters of the consequences of pursuing clues leading to the culprit of JFKs murder.
