Well it's been a few years since I participated in a fund-raisng thread for FR but I just read through 200 or so posts and noticed I am not alone.

Come on Freepers! It's long past time to renew our passion.

I know, I'm guilty, of fatigue, of complacency, of resignation.

We are better than that!

Coming at you JimRob is my 2nd $50 for this quarter.

But complacently throwing bucks aint enough folks!

Youngsters, hipsters, those with the energy of youth need to step up to the plate. It is your country, your way of life, your future at stake in this decade.

I remember when I could walk down the street with a rifle and neighbors waved hello. I remember when it was worth your ass to start trouble in my hood. I remember when I could order a gun from the Sears catalogue. I remember when I wasn't an old fart.

But this country is no longer a free country and Free Republic is trying to keep that faded dream alive.

The young squirts are way beyond us, bailing out of silk road and setting up alternatives. NSA be damned! The geeks are in control and we are struggling to kinda, maybe, keep up.

We need these young guns to non-publically enlist. The record of old farts on the “terrorist watch list” is hard
to fathom.

I was banned from the Clinton White House tour for just such.

Hi theneanderthal,I like to support what I read.So I support FR.On any given day if you do a search on a particular subject FR comes up first.Lately I have been reading the annual posting's on who shot President Kennedy.Enjoy the give and take.You have thoughtful and educational responses to threads.If you go elsewhere it not even worth reading because you not learning and that is my main goal.Learning more.I urge everyone to support Fr and especially now so Jim can rest.He's has a hard time of it.Let's just end this,Thanks Fatima.((((Hugs)))))
