It’s the transparent strategy of the two main Dem Admintrations of my lifetime,Clinton’s and obama’s, to appoint as many “minorities” as possible to ANY AND ALL high positions as possible-—on the principle of the double-edged sword....the appointment itself is supposed to prove first of all their progressive open-mindedness,as if they’re the ones who decided to make room for these people ,who are ,after all,just as competent by all measures as the usual “ white men”,and at the same time deflect all criticism of them,because when you attack them,you are attacking women,homosexuals,blacks,etc. etc. It’s designed to make them IMMUNE
from criticism, and at the top of it all is Obama himself,he of the indeterminate origins and identity,the debatable legitimacy,the unknown sexual and religious preference.....as such, he was supposed to function as All Things to All Men, ironically.
The easiest way for the Dominicans to handle this is to get some of their own “reliable” homosexuals, known to the police, and offer them money to get into compromising (embarrassing) circumstances with either the ambassador, his “husband” or both.
This would allow them to formally declare them “personna non grata”, and ask that they be returned to the US, in exchange for “more appropriate” diplomats.
If Obama and company make a hissy fit about it, then connect the ambassador and/or his “husband” with some really *diseased* homosexuals. If they have to return to the US to get their ‘Hong Kong Dong’ diseases treated, it accomplishes the same goals.
Why should he consider the particularities of the people of the Dominican Republic when he doesn't even consider those of his own nation? This is just pay-back to a campaign bundler who delivered lots of money to "Zero's" election.

I would have used the word "insult" their hosts. I am beginning to wonder if the State Dept. has any ambassadors that are not "gay", since they seem to be the ones getting the postings. I also think he does this to predominantly Roman Catholic countries, because he hates Catholics; or, at least his actions seem to indicate that he does.
Yes, they do it to insult their hosts and try to force their agenda on the rest of the globe.
Note also the recent plans to close the Vatican Embassy.
